The Colors of Food

Soon after I started my conversation with food, EAW, I noticed that it wasn’t really fun to draw fudge or bread, even cheesy bread.  But spinach or a radish…ooh la la, fun with color, roots and ribs.  That made me start thinking about brownish foods:  pretty much all baked goods, any form of chocolate, most meat, fish, dairy products…that stuff is not colorful.   Therefore, not so fun to draw.  And the colorful things like kale and carrots and mangoes.  It’s a generalization, but there is some message in there.  Thoughts?
